Another Year? Already?

Well, today has almost passed. My brother called me last night before midnight, my mother left her annual serenade on my cellphone this morning while I was in the shower and after work today, I found that my father had called and left a message on my cell as well. Truth be told, I don't really feel a year older. Although a lot sure has transpired in the past 12 months. I'm approaching the end of grad school---thank GOD!---so long as I don't screw anything up and get all of my assignments in; I've changed schools AND grade levels, so in a sense, I have become a rookie all over again; and most importantly, I have reconnected with old friends. I've been stressed out, bummed out and at times an angry cynic; however, I have also been considerate, elated and impassioned, so I guess I still manage to strike a healthy balance. Anyway, I sadly didn't get to party down or anything today, nor does it appear I can pencil in some time in the near future---damn you grad school deadlines!! But, things are on track---for now, and I'm making the most out of things, so I can't complain...well, not without being labeled a whiner and who wants THAT? Sorry I've been lax in blogging. I'll try to do a better job of updating in the future.
